Payment structure for a commissioned painting
First enquiry and rough quote free and without obligation.
Stage 1. Payment of initial deposit of one third of the total price. Photographic work and a visit to a subject location if required will be done at this stage.
Stage 2. Payment of remainder of price on completion.
Most paintings can be completed within three months from the payment of the initial deposit. A commission for a painting will only be undertaken if it is possible to complete within a reasonable time and only when there is a window between tiling commissions.
Gabrielle reserves the right to reject any commission she prefers not to execute. No deposit will be accepted if that is her choice.
Once a contract is signed and the initial deposit paid, that is a binding contract between the client and Gabrielle and the artwork will be completed as soon as possible.
